MONTHLY NEW MOON Circles

practice lunar tracking in community

The lunar cycle holds us, it is a container for our dreams.

Being guided by the moon helps us be in-season with ourselves and develop a connection between our inner landscape and the outer seasons so that we can live with more joy, reciprocity, and connection.

For me it is a practice of showing up, accountability and connection with others who are living their lives in with nature and cyclical self knowing. The consistency of practice is what draws me in each time.

There is so much medicine in sharing and community.

So grateful for the support from April and Sita .. having a platform away from social media, content that we can continue to explore and grow with, the sacredness of the space you created in the class and in zoom calls, never draining rather quite the opposite .. inspiring and uplifting.

Who are April and Sita?

We are mothers, artists, and teachers based in the Bay Area, CA who love connecting with all of nature’s cycles to live with more harmony and reciprocity.

April McMurtry (she/her) and Sita Rosalie Davis (she/her) draw from over a decade of consistent personal practices with the moon along with training and experience as educators and facilitators.

We are grateful to hold space for this journey through stages of awareness towards greater self-love, understanding, and ease within ourselves.

THE MOON IS MY CALENDAR was born in the nest of the new moon gatherings April and Sita began in 2008 during the early days of motherhood. The seeds of this practice came from the desire to connect more deeply with inner and outer cycles, and to know the Self in relationship with the Earth and the cosmos.

It soon became clear that the benefits of this tool and practice were meant to reach far beyond their living rooms, and so we are honored to invite you to be a part of this compassionate community for support and inspiration to sustain a practice of self-study in relationship with cycles.

i am grounded. i am held. i am contained.

i am in tune. i am connected.

i am alive. i am aligned.
