Moon Mandala Circle

Nurturing what is yet to become, creating something out of nothing ...
Creative life is a spiritual practice.
— Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes

You were born a creative lunar being.

To shine, to nourish and be nourished.

How often have you said ..."but I am not creative."

Imagine what it would take to shift the narrative and catalyze change within!

This circle is an offering for your empowerment, for your practice.

The Moon Mandala Circle connects you with the rhythm of the moon, with your rhythms.

We engage with the creative process of mandala making as a way to shift the stuck energy, to

express gratitude, build resilience, and awaken your radiance.

Mandalas are a visual depiction of a moment in your unfolding journey, they put energy in motion.

This creative process helps you practice self-compassion and to gain resilience. It opens up the flow of energy between your self and creative source.

Prepare to (re)awaken the creative cyclical being inside you that knows how to find her way through the chaos of life to become the calm in the eye of the storm.

Expand your perception of what creativity looks like and feels like, let go of expectations of perfection and share what is real.

The moon mandala circle has connected me much deeper with the moon in ways I never thought has been such an honor to share in this sacred work with you and so many other beautiful lights!

Why join?

Making your intentions visible is a step to manifesting them in the material, earthly realm.

Mandalas are thought to reveal things your conscious mind can't access.

Art is healing in itself. Creative practices help you access your intuition.

The intuitive process focuses on supporting your creative journey of personal growth.

Practices connected to the lunar cycle are a way to align with creative flow.

The Moon Mandala Circle offers inspiration and insight each lunar cycle!

I have been creating moon mandalas on the new moon for many years. It's amazing to see the reoccurring themes and patterns that emerge. Each one is unique, yet over time becomes a part of a whole.

The first step to connecting with this wisdom is creating the space in your life.

This is why I began the Moon Mandala Circle in 2017 - to hold space for women who wanted to access their relationship with lunar wisdom. When you allow the lunar cycle to guide you inward around the new moon, you can get in the habit of tapping into visions in the dark.

Thank you for enriching my life and expanding my horizon! (Your) teachings are so profound and uplifting.
— Gabi

This is not about being an 'artist' this is about the intention you put into your drawings and collages to activate what you are longing to manifest in your life.

What you infuse into your mandala holds and carries the energy of your intention - this is possible whether you are making glorious stick figures or realistic forms. It's not about how it looks, rather how it feels!

This is what it means to live artfully - whatever it is you are seeking is also seeking you.

Creativity is an expression of agency, presence, pain, joy, and transformation.

    The Process

BEGIN with a seed. What is your heart longing for?

Bring awareness to what helps you create a life that is nourishing rather than depleting. Perhaps this will require a shift in perspective, asking for help and receiving support you need, or expanding your capacity to serve.

Plant your seeds and tend to them daily.

What would they look like and feel like if you drew them on paper?

    About April

I am drawn to things that keep me connected to the cycles in nature and reminders that life is an unfolding work in progress. Meditation, creative process, connection to intuition and the cosmic currents get me up in the morning. And my alarm. And my daughters who need breakfast and lunches for school. And kisses.

This powerful quote by the artist Ana Mendieta says everything to me about the drive to create. Her earth-body-works made a deep impression on my understanding of place, belonging, mother nature, identity and the female body.
